About me.
My name is Jeff. I work and live in New York City. I use this blog to work out my thoughts on various subjects that interest me (and hopefully you too). The blog is not meant exactly as a portfolio, though I certainly don’t mind if potential clients look through my posts. In any case, since I’m only maintaining this one site for now, I created this page to provide some information on my professional life.
What I do.
I help clients to communicate in one way or another. Often this means that I do marketing or technical writing, but sometimes it means that I create a style guide, or advise them in other ways about how to display or develop compelling content for their Web sites.
If you’d like to know more, you might want to glance at my resume, or look through some of my past work. My LinkedIn profile is here.
My approach.
I help my clients develop the voice that’s best for them and the project we’re working on. And I try to create a message that’s as clear and direct as possible. I am a big believer in honesty, clarity, and plain language–the best way to get and keep customers is for them to understand you and believe you’re being straight with them. And they won’t believe that for long if you’re really pretending.
What can I do for you?
If you are interested in learning more about what I can do for you, take a look at the information available here, and send me an email if you have any questions or would like to get a quote.
Credits.
Citizen Studio basically did all of the work of changing the “Hemmed” WordPress theme into something that worked for my own identity and brand and all that. I would advise all my readers to contact them, especially if you have a content-heavy project.
